ACT Study Plan: 6–10 Week Template
Written by Ascend Academic mentors—students from top universities helping others succeed.
A good ACT study plan balances content, timed practice, and review. This template gives you a weekly structure to adapt.
Weeks 1–2: Diagnose and Fix Top Gaps
Take a diagnostic. Identify the 2–3 sections or question types that hurt you most. Focus your prep there first.
Weeks 3–5: Expand and Add Timed Work
Broaden to more weak areas. Add timed sections and at least one full-length test every two weeks. Keep a mistake log.
Weeks 6–10: Full-Length Focus
Increase full-length test frequency. Simulate test day. Use results to fine-tune remaining weak spots.
